John P. Baglia is a partner at Kramer Injury Law, where he represents individuals and families in serious personal injury and wrongful death matters throughout Illinois. His practice focuses on trucking collisions, motor vehicle crashes, premises liability, construction site accidents, animal attacks, and medical malpractice.

Raised in a family of small business owners, John learned early the value of hard work and accountability when earning a client’s trust. A South Florida native, he attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School, where he was a two-year varsity starting outside linebacker. He played on football teams that won multiple Florida state championships and a national championship. The discipline, competitive drive, and preparation that defined his athletic career remain central to his approach practicing law. Outside the office, John enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu , Muay Thai, golf, and strength training.

John earned his undergraduate degree in International Affairs from Florida State University before moving to Chicago to attend the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, formerly The John Marshall Law School. While working throughout all six semesters of law school, he gained litigation experience working at TorHoerman Law, The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, and Argionis & Associates. He graduated cum laude and served on the Law Review. His work for the Law Review was selected for publication. His published comment, “Legal Solutions to a Political Party National Committee Undermining U.S. Democracy,” was later cited by the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.



After law school, John joined Leonard Law Group, where he helped build the firm’s personal injury practice, from the ground up, into a thriving civil litigation group that handles more than 250 active cases. He has recovered millions of dollars for injured clients; taken and defended hundreds of depositions; and successfully represented clients through trial and verdict.

John believes every client deserves direct access to their attorney, meticulous preparation, candid guidance, and relentless advocacy from the initial consultation through the final resolution of their case.
